About

A few of my favorite records

My Vinyl Offering gets up close and personal with artists and musicians to find out the most cherished parts of their Vinyl, CD or Tape collection.

Greetings. My name is Ken Kopija and I created My Vinyl Offering. My Vinyl Offering was originally born as a feature on my metal blog Inhale the Heavy. Due to its popularity, it was decided that launching a site specifically dedicated to hosting it would be beneficial.

Quick Fact
I’ve been collecting records and tapes for over 40 years. I was bitten by the vinyl bug in 1976 when I came across a used copy of Aerosmith’s Toys in the Attic at a rummage sale. To this day, I still cannot accurately describe the feeling I had the first time I picked up that record. You can see that original copy in the photo above.
